Petra International Ministries Homegoing Service Procedures During the Global COVID-19 Pandemic
The family of the deceased should call the Church Office – (412) 243-7225.
Once the church is notified, Deacon Theresa Butler of the Homegoing Ministry will reach out to the family representative.
If the family desires to have the homegoing service at Petra, The Homegoing Ministry will review the family’s request and if approved, the family will be informed by the Homegoing Ministry.
Due to COVID-19, Petra is offering limited service available at this time. Petra is limited in what services are available because of COVID-19 limitations. At this time, the Worship Team and the Hospitality Ministry are not available.
Our current policy provides that the family is able to use the Sanctuary with sound for the service and Petra will provide space, set up, and clean up for the repast. The family will be responsible for providing food and servers.
